TAK-OS Local CSI
TAK-OS Local CSI stores Kubernetes persistent volumes as directories on a Linux node. Data survives pod replacement and driver restarts on that node. Volumes are bound to their original node and are not replicated by this driver.
| Audience | Guide | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Application users | User guide | Create a PVC, mount it, check persistence, permissions, deletion, and common problems |
| Cluster administrators | Administrator guide | Architecture, installation, configuration, trusted consumers, monitoring, maintenance, and recovery |
Copyable manifests:
Examples use the tak-os-local StorageClass and assume an administrator has
installed the driver. Run commands from the repository root against the intended
Kubernetes context. Installing the driver and creating StorageClasses require
cluster administrator access; application examples require permission to create
PVCs and pods in the chosen namespace.
These guides describe the source in this checkout, including the opt-in
--consumer-mount-root extension recorded in the changelog.
The source's reported driver version and the checked-in external deployment
image map still use 2.0.0; check the actual image and release pipeline before
depending on that extension. Documentation does not establish image publication
or deployment status.
